Stylist Training & Salon Placement Program

Our Stylist Training & Placement Program is a hands-on experience designed to prepare hairstylists for real salon work while helping them discover where they thrive professionally.

This is a one-time paid training program, not a membership or subscription.

What You’ll Learn

Healthy hair habits and scalp care
Shampooing and professional blowouts
Round brush and iron styling techniques
Speed, timing, and client flow
Braid-down and protective styles for Black women
Salon standards, sanitation, and professionalism

Real Salon Experience

After training, stylists are placed in different salon environments to:

Gain hands-on experience
Test different salon cultures
Identify preferred services
Determine whether hourly or commission-based work fits best

Placements are intended for experience and evaluation and may lead to paid opportunities depending on performance and salon needs.

Training Fee

$150 one-time training fee

Includes training, evaluation, and placement coordination.

Not everyone wants to work inside a salon long-term and that’s fine. For stylists who plan to remain independent or transition into their own business, iSlay Beauty Academy also provides professional templates and resources to support self-employed success.
